When I first started out. I used a free webhost, www.freewebs.com. Their only drawback is that they do not support php, thus making it impossible to try out even a simple feedback form. But they are a good place to start out.
When I started making this website, I knew nothing about css, browser compatibility, download time or how and why I should write valid html code. Now, thanks to SitePoint Forum, I am much more enlightened. This personal site is a result of that. Given below are some of the sites I created.
